If you follow us on Instagram, you’ll know that we’ve been spending time at Milan Fashion Week over the last few days, where we’ve seen and experienced some of the most cutting edge fashion and styling available today. We got to see the very best from brands such as Armani, Fendi, Prada and Versace, but now it’s back to reality and in truth, there is nothing we love more than affordable fashion!
We’ve decided to create our own little GDO ‘Affordable Fashion Week’ and have selected some of our favourite high street finds that you can pick up for a bargain!
#1 F&F at Tesco
We love Tesco clothing and accessories! Seriously good quality – plus they look mega stylish.
These are the perfect boots for your A/W wardrobe. With a sleek black patent finish, these are the perfect addition to top off any stylish outfit, and could be styled into your office outfit or used for glam day/night time. Definitely a staple item this Winter!
If you like Autumnal colours, you’ll love these high waisted trousers that will flatter any figure. Worn with a body suit or not-too-chunky knit jumper tucked in, this is an outfit with some serious cold weather style.
Primark is every bargain-hunter’s go-to shopping destination, and having really raised their game in the fashion stakes over the last couple of years, it’s easy to see why! Primark’s A/W collection focuses on cosy (but stylish) knits, statement pieces and simple, chic accessories – and it totally works.
This blue suedette biker jacket is perfect for day or night time and can be dressed up or down depending on the occasion. The striking cobalt blue colour really pops against a combo of black skinny jeans and top. Paired with some statement blue nails, this outfit is absolute goals.
Continuing with the bold statement colours, we’re loving these red Primark boots which command attention without being too high and over the top. We’ve been on the lookout ever since we saw Hilary Duff rocking a pair of red ankle boots on Instagram, and these might just be the ones we’ve been looking for!
#3 George at ASDA
Much like F&F at Tesco, George at ASDA is famous for its affordable style, and in recent years has become a serious contender in the world of affordable fashion.
Take this skirt for example! Bold floral prints have come back and hit us hard this year, and we’re obsessing over this cute flowy asymmetric skirt which can be worn with tights and knee high boots for a cool daytime look, or dressed up with bare legs and sandals for night time.
ASDA are obviously loving print as much as us this season, with the addition of this newly released midi dress which tones down the usual animal print look, making way for classy autumnal chic. Pair with heels or trainers (yes, trainers!) to dress the look up or down to suit the mood.
