Fans of the legendary Girls Day Out Show will be disappointed to learn that the annual ladies lifestyle event will now not take place as planned this December.
As the events of 2020 have unfolded and the halls of the Scottish Event Campus continue to be utilised as a temporary medical facility as part of the COVID-19 response measures, so it has become apparent that sadly, the show for this year simply can not go on.
Scotland’s First Minister recently confirmed that the temporary medical facility, NHS Louisa Jordan, will now remain in place at the SEC in Glasgow as a contingency to support NHS Scotland until into the new year.
However, hopes are high that as the recovery from the pandemic continues, 2021 will soon see the return of live events in Scotland sooner rather than later. Optimistically, the organisers of the Girls Day Out Show, PSP Media Group, aim to stage a new edition of the event in May of 2021.
Full details of that fun-filled event will be revealed in due course as planning progresses in partnership with the SEC, Glasgow and the many exhibitors for whom the show has become a must-attend event each year.
In the meantime, we wish everyone with an interest in the Girls Day Out Show good health and invite you to keep in touch with plans for the next show in 2021 at www.girlsdayoutshow.co.uk or follow us on Facebook
