Where is Girls Day Out Show held?
The show is held at the Scottish Exhibition and Conference Centre between Friday 2nd - Sunday 4th December. For more information on how to get there click here.
What are the event times?
The show runs from 10am to 6pm on Friday 2nd December, 10am to 6pm on Saturday 3rd December and 10am to 5pm on Sunday 4th December. You are free to come and go as you choose and arrive at any time, as long as you get your hand stamped so you can get back in for free.
Are there any age restrictions?
Due to alcohol being served the event is open to persons aged 16 and over. All under 16s must be accompanied by a responsible adult. If you are lucky enough to look under 25 we do ask that you bring ID with you if you are buying alcohol.
Are there refreshments available?
There will be a selection of hot and cold light meals and snacks at the show. Afternoon teas will only be available for pre booked ticket holders. There will plenty of other food stalls to choose from throughout the weekend.
Is there parking?
SECC terms apply - the daily rate to park at the SECC is as follows: Up to 1 hour : £4, 2-12 hours: £8, 13 hours: £12, 14-24 Hours £16
Where are my tickets?
If you have pre-purchased tickets from Groupon, Wowcher, itison or 5pm please follow instructions provided and print off your ticket to show at the front entrance. If you have ordered via the Girls Day Out Website please be advised your tickets are most likely in the post on their way to you! Please get in touch if you have any queries regarding your ticket confirmation.
Are there plenty of cash points at the show?
There will be 1 free cash machine at the show and 2 charging cash machines located within the SECC in case something catches your eye! Most vendors will have card facilities so please do ask. It's adviseable to bring cash to the show to beat the queues.
